Er yeah. It's that time again. I am broke (as usual) and need some extra cash to try to pay off my bills and save up for a trip I want to take.

Soooooo.... I am opening myself up for art commission requests! But there are some rules, please see below!

Rules:

  • 1. The commissions will be CG (computer drawn/colored) OR copic marker colored artwork only. When I am done, the artwork will be emailed to you in 2 resolutions (web resolution and something higher - like around 150 or 200 dpi) or, for marker-colored artwork, I can mail you the actual piece, but there will be a small shipping charge. I reserve the right to post the finished pic in my art portfolio or deviantart gallery.
  • 2. I can do black and white line art or a full color illustration. The prices will vary, see the price list below.
  • 3. In order to handle the no doubt OVERWHELMING demand (hah, yeah, sure, pfft.) the commissions will be portrait-type artwork. By this I mean basic character art from the waist or shoulders up, possibly with a background (this depends on what you are interested in). I have some examples of my previous portrait-type artworks linked down below.
  • 4. I will draw fan art or original characters based on your description. I will even draw your characters dressed up like existing characters :P However I suck at mecha or furries, so request those at your own risk (you will get a scary-looking result). Seriously, I think I am allergic to mecha.... as for furries, they look silly when I draw them... my level of furry seems to be normal human characters with animal ears/paws, and tails. (mmmm catboys...) I can't really do that whole 'furry face' thing very well ^_^;;
  • 5. No totally nekkid characters or pr0n (not that there is much opportunity for pr0n with portrait pictures) but sexy, revealing clothing should be ok.
  • 6. I love/prefer drawing bishounen, but I can draw girls too :P

So basically, if you have an RPG character or original character you would like for me to draw, this is the time to ask ^_^

(that way I can tell your email apart from all those nigerian scam and lotto winning emails I get)

In the body of the email please let me know how many characters, and if you want line art or color. Go ahead and give me the description of the character(s), with as much detail as possible, or if I am free to make things up, let me know. If it is fanart, it would be helpful if you provided links to costume-reference images of the character. My google image search skills are fairly good though.

After that I will reply to you letting you know if I can fulfill your request. I will probably try to work on several at once (er, if I actually get more than one request, or you may be my ONLY buyer ^^;;;) but if I am some how actually swamped with requests (highly unlikely) I may let you know I can't do yours at the moment. I reserve the right to refuse a commission (but that is also unlikely)

Payment should be made in advance. Paypal is my preferred method of payment. You can use the donate button on the main OO site to make the payment. Don't pay until I have agreed to do your piece though! As for my trustworthiness, you can check out my ebay feedback... my username there is yukime. Once I accept your commission, the timeframe for finishing the piece depends on how many characters or how complex it is. It can take from a few days to a couple of weeks. However, I will email you with my progress status as I work on it.

If you are getting a piece done in colored marker and want me to mail it to you when I am done, please add an extra $1.50 to the price to cover the envelope and stamps :D
