--Ashita no Tamago Ahh, yet another fun series from Tachibana-sensei! This one currently runs in the manga magazine Asuka.
Makoto KATSUYA is your typical high school boy- he's fairly cute, good at kendo, in love with the pretty girl in his class, and has a best friend (a girl) named Momoka. Makoto's homelife is a little strained- his parents dont seem to be getting along very well, but Makoto manages to get along okay. Things change for him one day when he sees a strange, round floating thing with squinty eyes that smiles at him, sticks out its tongue, then disappears! What was that?!?!
(It looks a lot like Rayearth's Mokona, but with little curled horn-things instead of floppy ears) Okay, so Makoto sees this strange floating thing.
He writes it off as imagination but the strangeness continues. He soon encunters someone on the street who not only knows his name, but regards him as a relative!
Makoto has never seen this stranger before, and heads home right away. However this doesn't stop the mysterious stranger, and Makoto is shocked when the stranger appears out of mid-air right into his bedroom, as if by magic! The stranger is a young man abut the same age
as Makoto. His name is Yuusuke KATSUYA, and he claims to be Makoto's grandson! The strange floating thing Makoto saw earlier was actually Yuusuke's time machine!
As you can guess, things start to get very fun! Yuusuke has some back in time to enlist Makoto's help in a problem with his own son! Eventually Momoka and the girl Makoto likes get in on the story, and the adventure begins!
