Oh cool! I was so happy when I found this manga volume! I had read the first chapter of it in a random old issue of 'Best Friend' that was given to me, and I had never forgotten the story because I thought it was so amusing ^^ When I saw this volume at the store I wasn't sure if it was the story I remembered, but I took a chance, and it paid off, this was the one I was looking for! And even better, the story continued past the one chapter I had read, and fills the entire volume. Yay! Click on the cover pictured here to see what the back cover looks like ^_^

Riria is a middle school girl who is absolutely, hopelessly in love with the guy who lives next door. The only problem is that he is a little older than her. Well okay, a LOT older than her. His name is Rinpei, and he is 26 and a businessman from a rich family. Although he is nice to Riria, he (rightfully) considers her just a kid, and just treats her like a friend. Poor Riria, she loves Rinpei so much, but he is so much older and doesn't see her as a real woman. What can she do? It has begun! Riria's singleminded pursuit of Rinpei! To solve the age problem, Riria transforms herself (with the help of several fashion magazines, a short dress, lipstick, curling iron and a padded bra) into a totally different person, trying to make herself look older. Now is the test, she decided to find Rinpei on the street and see if she can fool him with her 'disguise' into considering her a real 'woman' and see how he likes her then. Amazingly enough, things go well. Riria, in her new um.. sexy... persona (I think she calls herself 'Kashiko') manages to make quite an impression on Rinpei! In fact, he really likes her! However what will he do when he finds out 'Kashiko's secret? Can Rinpei really care about someone who deceived him in such a way? Can there really be a future for them with such a dramatic age difference? What would their family and friends say? Not to mention Rinpei's fiancee? Whee, lots of fun here ^^ See Riria take on her sexy persona many times with hilarious results ^_^
