I purchased this at the last minute (right before checking out my shopping cart on the website I buy my manga from) because of the cover.
It is just so darn cute! I had absolutely no idea what it is about, and, amazingly enough, I still don't have much of an idea what it is about ^^;;; But the art is really cute! There seems
to always be a lot going on, and a lot of detail everywhere. The artist is good at creating very silly expressions on the faces of her characters, and sometimes the art style switches from sparkly-pretty to freakish scribbles when the characters react to something. All in all, I am
glad I purchased this, but I am sorry if my mangle the plot description ^^;;
This series uses a very popular shoujo manga plot device... the heroine working in the home of the hero as a servant or maid. Her name is Homare, and I think the reason she ends up working there is after her parents use
her to pay off a loan. She is the payment! The house she works in has a father and three cute sons. There is one in particular that Homare clashes with. His name is Masamune, and he suffers a lot after Homare moves in. Homare is an interesting heroine. Chaos seems to
surround her. She can be cute, clumsy, and somewhat psychotic. One bone of contention between her and Masamune is the cat. Masamune loves their cat, while Homare does not get along with it at all. The strange sense of humor in this volume can be seen when Homare manages to set their house on fire after a cooking disaster, and
when she is trapped inside by flames, Masamune rushes in and saves the cat instead ^_^;; Eventually Homare starts attending the same high school as the guys (never mind the fact that it is an all-boys school and she is the only female there) and poor Masamune's life is never the same ^^ From the scary Kendo uniform laundry incident, to
nekkid shower hijinks, this story is pretty odd by a lot of fun!
