I actually picked this manga up because at the time, it was the only new volume of random shoujo stuff I could find. ^_^; The cover was cute, and I actually read a little of the back cover and got an idea of what the plot was about. I usually can't tell much from the summaries on the back of tanoubon because the only stuff I can usually understand in the descriptions is stuff like 'super exciting comedy love story!' which doesn't exactly describe the plot :) But the synopsis for this manga was fairly simple. Hey, that's a good thing!

Anyway, this is the story of Natsumi, she is a fairly cute 5th grade girl. However she has short hair, much like a tomboy, and isn't as 'beautiful' as she wishes she could be. She really needs to stop comparing her 5th grade body to the figures of all the girls in the fashion magazines she reads. Natsumi dreams of being cool and sexy like them. Next door to Natsumi lives her childhood friend Asuma. Asuma has known Natsumi forever, and likes to tease her.

Natsumi's life changes one day when she eats (of all things) some peanuts. The look like normal peanuts, but when she wakes up the next morning, Natsumi finds herself to be a stranger in her own body! She is suddenly all grown up, having the body of a sexy 18 year-old. And she is gorgeous! It's exactly what Natsumi wanted! With her new gorgeous looks, Natsumi manages to find a new love interest (a very sexy guy at a nearby salon) and she is scouted to become the next new idol-model! All this new activity puts some stress on Natsumi- can she maintain two identities? The situation is sort of like the classic magical girl series 'Creamy Mami' except most of the focus is on Natsumi instead of her career. Natsumi must juggle two lives, and still try to figure out why those peanuts cause her to change! The results are surprising!
