I am quite sure that the reason I bought this manga is very obvious ^_^ *cough cough* What can I say…. cute boy… animal print button fly boxers… can you think I would actually not get this? Hehehe. This book is a series of losely connected short stories about high school relationships. It gets a bit smutty at times, but not super graphic. (Does that make any sense? hmm…) I guess the boy on the cover is wearing animal print because a few of the stories in here sort of have a theme of animal attraction/caveman/law of the wild/hunting prey when it comes to relationships ^_^ The boys are the animals, the girls are the hunters, hahah!
The first love story begins with a bit of mistaken identity. NINOMIYA Risa is out walking downtown when she is hit on by a strange guy. Before she can finish her refusal of his offer, she recognizes the guy hitting on her. And he recognizes her. It turns out they are classmates at school. He is OOTOMO Michiaki. Michiaki and Risa are in the same class, but haven’t really associated with each other before. But now, on the street when they meet, their hands somehow touch, and they both feel a huge electrical reaction. With one touch, they both suddenly realize how attracted they are to each other. It is like a natural instinct. He instantly suggests they start dating, and she quickly agrees. Much of what they felt was an instant sexual attraction, and Michiaki is eager to get to it. He wants to have sex right away. However, Risa would rather wait until her birthday, which is a month away. This actually causes a rift in their relationship. How can they find a compromise?
The main character of the next story is a guy named Tsutomu. He is not very bright because he is totally in love with this shallow hirl at his school. Her name is Rena, and she is cute and popular, and has that ‘I’m a helpless female’ act going on. Tsutomu totally falls for it, not noticing the girl who really loves him, his childhood friend Masako (whom he has nicknamed ‘Machako’). When Tsutomu finally makes an ass out of himself over Rena, he also manages to hurt Masako’s feelings. Can Tsutomu realize that he is after the wrong girl?
Next up is a story about two best friends who are determined to get boyfriends and not end up old and gray together. They make up a plan of attack that involves joining the Karate club as managers and accompanying them to a summer training camp, where each girl will have the chance to snag the guy of her dreams. Things don’t go quite as planned!
